Reval Hotel Latvija Opens New Event Premises at the Highest Point of the Daugava’s Right Bank

You can relish the bird's eye-view of Paris from the Eiffel Tower, New York's glass and metal jungle is best enjoyed from the top floors of Empire State Building, whereas London’s lively day and night life is revealed in all its glory from a cabin of the gigantic London Eye.

Till now, there has been no place of this kind in Riga for appreciating the eclectic beauty of the city and the fusion of its history and modern life. This week such premises were finally opened in the biggest hotel and conference premises complex in the capital city of Latvia – on the 27th floor of Reval Hotel Latvija, situated at the very heart of the city and given an indicative name of Sky Point.

During the opening festivity, the most curious visitors were able to enjoy the bird's eye-view of the Cabinet of Ministers, the spire of the Monument of Freedom, Vansu Bridge, wooden architecture of Pardaugava, the church towers of the city centre, Brivibas Street along its entire length, Art Nouveau buildings of the ‘silent centre’ and the green avenues of the most remote housing estates of Riga.

Arturs Stikuts, Sales and Marketing Director of Reval Hotels in Latvia, is convinced that the new premises will be highly popular as it is a unique opportunity to be able to sip good wine, enjoy sophisticated snacks and have exciting conversations with the city literally at your feet. Furthermore, the new premises were designed by the new and promising interior designer Oksana Luzika, who preserved laconic interior ambience not to overshadow the spectacular view of the city. ‘This is an amazing place suitable for the most daring ideas and the most unusual events due to its unique location,’ says A. Stikuts.

Reval Hotels is the leading hotel chain in the Baltic countries, operating eight full-service, first-class hotels located in the major Baltic cities: three in Tallinn, Estonia, three in Riga, Latvia, one in Vilnius and one in Kaunas, Lithuania. In autumn 2009 a new hotel of the international hotel chain – Reval Hotel Sonya – will open its doors in St. Petersburg.

Reval Hotels is owned by the Norwegian real estate investment company Linstow AS, owned by AWILHELMSEN AS, major shareholder of the world’s second largest cruise shipping company Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines
